Review
1080° Snowboarding was not the first game released on the Nintendo 64, but it was enjoyed by many as one of the first true snowboarding games to be released on a 3D platform, paving the way for future games such as Amped and SSX.
In 1080° Snowboarding, players can choose between several different characters and licenced Lamar boards, as well as different courses to run on different mountains. In addition to a fun multiplayer race mode, the game also allowed for the creation of "ghosts" that allowed the player to compete against their best time or tricks. The Half-Pipe was a fan favorite, and featured one of the first well-rounded trick systems common in todays snowboarding and skateboarding games.
The 1080° Snowboarding Soundtrack features some nice beats and decent music to fit with its snowboarder-lifestyle theme.
