Rare’s Donkey Kong 64 was the first game for the Nintendo 64 to require the Expansion Pack that allowed for better quality graphics, sound, and level size.

The game has you playing as one of several members of the Kong family with each having their own strengths and weaknesses.  Diddy Kong, for example, will be able to use a jetpack to fly around levels, while Chunky Kong can grow incredibly large to pick up boulders with relative ease, as they say.

The Donkey Kong 64 Soundtrack (sometimes abbreviated the DK64 Soundtrack) is very similar to that of the Banjo-Kazooie series,  using marimbas, brass instruments, and heavy drums.
