Half-Life: Opposing Force was the first official “Expansion Pack” to Half-Life, if it can even be called an expansion and not an entirely new game.
Half-Life: Opposing Force puts you in the role of one of the bad guys in the game, specifically one that’s trying to catch up to Gordon Freeman (the main character who you play as in the original game) to prevent him from escaping Black Mesa. Also in Opposing Force, you have the ability to control other computer controlled members of a squad, something that is very common by today’s standards, but years ago was unheard of.
The Half-Life: Opposing Force Soundtrack is very similar to that of the original game, featuring heavy bass, drums, and a more futuristic techno style feel.
This soundtrack was provided by forum member Phantom.
Ed. Note: Windows Media Player recognizes this soundtrack as “Jazzamataz Vol. 2,” and we have no idea why. Sorry for this inconvenience. |
